Pole dancers from Revolutions Pole Academy in Kent were invited to perform at a fete (party) for Crockenhill Primary School by head teacher Sarah Warshow. The youngest performer in the showcase was four and a 12-year-old performed a solo. Songs used included a medley from The Lion King with adults dressed as animals. Some parents were not happy with the performances. “A lot of people were upset about it. They were performing a routine to music in inappropriate clothing and they had children doing it and I just thought, ‘this is so wrong,'” stated an unnamed father of two children at the school. “There was one performance by the teacher and some by the children. It’s great for the children to keep fit and it’s fun as well. We felt it was good to support it – there’s nothing sleazy about it,” Ms. Warshow said. To read the full story click here.
