Pole dancing is being featured in a museum exhibit at the New Museum in New York City. The exhibit will appear for six months as part of the New Museum’s R&D Season: CHOREOGRAPHY. The creators Gerard and Kelly (Brennan Gerard and Ryan Kelly) state that this will continue “their longstanding investigation into intimacy, relationships, and the movement of cultural transmission via vernaculars of pole dancing.” The exhibit features classes, practice time as well as performances.  To read the full story click here.
