Former strippers are calling for tighter strip club regulation “amid safety fears for young women entering the industry” according to Wiltshire News. Previous dancers are concerned for girls that are being pressured into becoming lap dancers and that some “do it without understanding the consequences.” Christine Gregory, a former stripper for only 6 months, told the Wiltshire News, “The industry needs to be standardised and legislated for.
