New Pole Dance Bar to Open In Paris
Karin B., a French pole enthusiast of two and a half years, is creating the first pole dance bar in Paris, France called Upside Bar. Upside Bar will be a place where pole dancers, pole dance enthusiasts and just plain old fans of a good bar can come together and enjoy pole dancing while having a drink with friends. While this sounds like it can get a bit dangerous, Karin told UPA, “people will have to sign a release just like they have to in pole dancing school. But the team, the employees and the security guy will also keep an eye on the people on the pole in order to make sure that they will be no excessive alcohol consumption. We ought to reserve the right to deal with these individuals in a way that is appropriate and refuse the access to the pole if it endangers the people. There will also be a very large choice of non alcoholic drinks (such as juices, protein shakes or non alcoholic cocktails…).” “Everyone is welcome to pole! Poles are in free access to every single consumer, you can come and train for free as long as you buy something to drink.” Karin also mentioned to UPA that the bar will be “organizing pole parties to watch the live streaming [of pole events] all together (We will have another one for the IPC live streaming).” Upside Bar is currently featured on kisskissbankbank.com to raise funds to open the bar successfully. So far they have surpassed their goal of 15,000€. If you’re a pole dancer that can’t wait to party it up with some friends, then this might be the right place for you!
